Artist Greg Thomas better known as “Greg T†on stage was born and raised in Marshall Texas. He soared his way lyrically through Houston, Dallas, Shreveport, East Texas, and other small metropolitan areas. Mr. Thomas joined a R&B singing group in 1999 by the name of X-TRA Special. As an amateur in the music game Greg was forced to work and perform harder under pressure. X-TRA Special performed at local talent shows held at Wiley College. The groups that X-TRA Special performed with included an R & B Group named “Shilohâ€. Later Greg began song writing for this group. While with this group Greg also got the opportunity to perform with a few major artists such as Houston rapper Lil’ Flip, ESG, and Wreckshop which gave the group public recognition. The members that consisted of this group X-TRA Special parted ties after a year but, Greg didn’t let his dreams end there. Greg later discovered after the group broke up his strong point was being a Solo Artist. Greg began soothing all crowds young and old with his soulful voice and style. His major influences include Luther Vandross, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Stylistics, Babyface, and Tony Toni Tone.The production Companies used to assist Greg in the production of his hit songs includes Question Mark Productions, Pushin’ Keys Production, and HFactor Music. The Hit Solo’s recorded by Greg T included “Brought Me to thisâ€, and “Call Meâ€. Both of these singles are getting local internet and radio plays.Greg T’s passion and main objective is to be the best and most hard working new R & B Artist that’s out. He has gained respect and creditability from his peers and industry moguls for his creative writing skills and vocal abilities. His goal is to break into mainstream by making music with a purpose, to having sold out shows and concerts, and to capture all R & B music audiences.
