Papa Kwasi

Dochie Desewu ( Papa Kwasi) was born in Adeiso last born of five children. Raised by Mama Africa herself, along with the influences of a whole village, he grew up among wisdom women and men, Kings and Queens in what has been impacting on his life living breathing music.In the 80’s as a teenager Papa Kwasi choose the path of Rastafari, as he says, “Rastafari showed me the way to make me see better, to fight the evil forces of the world and to stand up for the oppressed rights.” “The microphone is the true weapon to fight down oppression, apartheid and colonial mentality.”Playing along side Muta Baruka, Don Carlos and the Legend "Culture" Joseph Hills.
