.. a blank book filled with nice paper, grab a pen and begin to draw. Draw badly, draw ineptly, draw dreadfully, then turn the page and draw some more, Don't just draw layouts and designs and logos. Draw your breakfast, draw your fellow commuters, draw your cat, Draw your clients, draw you Wacom tablet.
And write. Write down your ideas, phone numbers, lunch orders. Write down museums you'd like to visit, new foods you'd like to try, exotic destinations you'll soon be visiting. Write about why you stoped drawing. Write about how you would feel if you could introduce yourself to people by saying, "Hi, I'm an artist."
