Mr. Dilla has been in the back ground of Florida based groups for a number of years waiting for his time to shine. Originally Mr. Dilla was in a group called the Darkside out of Chicago, Il, But, relocated to Florida where he met Mr. Nash who was producing for a number of groups in the Quad City Family. As it may be years and different projects went by with no record deal being put on the table. So after it seemed so distant Mr. Dilla joined the Navy and went on to serve the country for 3 years. But the time is now to get back in the game and make a little noise blending his Chicago and Southern styles together to try and get his slice of the sweet potato pie.
