About Me

Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways. Proverbs 20:30 (GNT) No one’s life is an unbroken chain of victories. We all have experienced setbacks, defeats, losses, and failures. Nobody bats a thousand. We all make mistakes.Since failure is common to all of us, one of the most important life-skills you can learn is how to respond to it. Mature people know how to turn every failure into a learning experience, a stepping stone for future success. When we don’t plan ahead – As the old saying goes, “If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail.” Proverbs 27:12 (LB) says, “A sensible man watches for problems ahead and prepares to meet them.” Remember, Noah had to start building the ark long before it started raining!I am originally from Manning, SC. After graduating from high school, I attended Johnson C. Smith University located in Charlotte, NC. I recieved a full football scholarship to play quarterback on the Golden Bull football team. I became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. during the Fall of 2000. I graduated from JCSU with honors in 2003. After graduation I taught Health and Physical Education in the public school system. After teaching for a year I decided to tutor and counsel under privledged kids. I moved to Atlanta about two years ago. I currently work at a psychiatric Hospital for kids that have suffered through mental and physcical abuse. I bought my first home about a year ago and i am loving being a home owner. My experiences in life have taught me to be a better man.
