About Me

I'm a Scottish singer, songwriter and physicist, stuck between falling asleep in London lecture theatres and dandying about the West End of Glasgow. I like to pretend I have something to say in my songs but I don't really. Some are quite folky, some a bit more rock and a few are somewhere in between, but they're all just pop songs at heart. Sometimes I get some friends to help me out on them, sometimes I like to hog the spotlight all by myself. I'd love to meet a fiddle player though. In my one and only review thus far I was described by the Bluesbunny as having an "intensity to his performance that makes him worth watching out for". That was a while ago, however, so don't get your hopes up if you come to see me. I do enjoying playing gigs though, and hopefully I'll organise a few for the summer. It would be utterly spiffing to see you at one.
I recorded a 7 track EP last summer called "The Leaf Dancer" with some friends which you can download for free at the Kerchoonz website linked to above. You can also buy a handmade copy by clicking on the paypal link on the left.
