I enjoy listening to music and sometimes watching films, but most of my days are spent working (7 days a week and over 60 hours, split between our village shop Mace and a pub The Prince Of Wales on Ham Hill), an investment of time to fund my travles later on this year. I do martial art training twice a week in the evenings as well as a daily workout. Somehow exercise and working out has become a passion and I just can’t get enough of it. There's nothing like the buzz you get, it's the only thing I've got left that makes me feel alive. When I’m inside I’ll be playing the bass guitar or reading/drawing/writing. My Photobucket account is here: http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/chaossplit/ for any interest. (Yes, my photography is a lot better than my drawing) The rest of my time is spent working on my Landrover (Series III truck cab for all its worth) I like thinking but I probably spend too much time doing that.
Anyone that would like to meet me.
Metal. Hardcore. Experimental. Blues. Ska. Punk. Rock. Indie. That’s pretty much the line up in tastes. Throw a few names around and you’ll get Converge, Cult of Luna, Isis, Clutch, The Abominable Iron Sloth, Red Sparowes, Yakuza, The Mars Volta, Amon Amarth, Soilwork, Rammstein, Muse, Kreator, Interpol and Maroon. Those are the favourites for the moment I think.
Zombie films like Dawn Of The Dead and Night Of The Living Dead etc have complete ownage. Don’t argue. Or anything with excessive gore, Ichi The Killer etc. Or gangster films. Possibly zombie gangsters.
Have I Got News For You when it is on or maybe some random apocalyptical documentary. Great stuff. Or some documentaries discrediting God's and religions. You can’t go wrong with ethnic cleansing.
I love reading. I love to be taken away from myself and go into somewhere different. Terry Pratchett is a master of his art and only a few come close to his level of skill. Pretty much anything in the Disc world series is guaranteed to be good. I loved the Biggles books and I’ve got some old ones with the hard backs from years ago. Great stuff. Some factual books are interesting sometimes. It’s generally ones about organised crime, hit men, genocides ect.
If you have no dreams you can’t fail. I don’t want to be like anyone.
