One day, I'd really like to meet Gandhi... or Martin Luther King Jr. , but their dead. Oh well.
Sufjan Stevens, Final Fantasy (yes this is a band), Death Cab For Cutie, Of Montreal, Neutral Milk Hotel, Iron and Wine, Pixies, Blur, Seu Jorge, David Bowie. ******Most of what follows is old and doesn't apply but is interesting (to me) anyway....****right now, I'm liking Switchfoot, Weezer, The White Stripes, The Strokes, Modest Mouse, Dave Matthews Band, Moby and Jack Johnson, but a couple years ago I was all about Linkin Park, Creed, P.O.D., Deftones, Korn, and I still love Incubus. Does that mean that I'm a puppet of the music industry? Listening to whatever is popular with my crowd?** (due to recent developments, most of the band's posted here I no longer listen to. Look's like it's worship music only for a little while.)** Sadly the worship music only thing only lasted about three months. I got really into Indie rock. right now I'm listening to 'Arc of Time' by Bright Eyes. It is a beautiful, happy sounding song about death (I love the irony). Bright Eyes does an incredible job of expressing the Post-modern mindset, the prevalent thought of this age. However, there has to be more to this world that a series of vivid experiences. There is a purpose.___ ... but if what you want is experience, than I would recomend, All american rejects, Death Cab for Cutie, Flogging Molly, Radiohead, The Kinks, Spoon, Dashboard Confessional, Thursday, The Shins, Interpol, Alkaline Trio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Decemberists, Ben Folds Five, Greenday, The Postal Service, The Chemical Brothers, Queen, The Beatles, The Who.and if you want the best experience, then buy Enter the Worship Circle, the first circle, and listen to it outside, away from everyone else.
...SUCKS! the number 1 socially acceptable drug. We shall become zombies feasting on the corpses of the lowest common denominator. That said... x-files, CSI, the west wing, cartoons; simpsons, home movies, the oblongs, adult swim, daily show
Anything by C. S. Lewis, specifically Til We Have Faces. I've also always love JR Tolkien.
My father. In a world of crappy dads, he tried his hardest and did a decent job.
