About Me

About the nickname: Thai people have a hard time saying "S" after certain sounds. You'll hear a slight "T" sound instead. I told some drunk girl my name, Marcus; she mispronounced it as expected, then repeated it with the appropriate adjective.

"I was dressed for success, but success it never comes. And I'm the only one who laughs at your jokes when they are so bad. And your jokes are always bad, But they're not as bad as this." Pavement, "Here"
"And I've walked down life's lonely highways hand in hand with myself. And I realized how many paths have crossed between us." The Velvet Underground, "I found a reason"
"You've gotta look at life the way it oughta be, looking at the stars from underneath the trees. There's a world inside and a world out there; with that TV you just don't care. They've got violence, wars, and killing too, all shrunk down in a two foot tube. But out there the world is a beautiful place with mountains, lakes and the human race." New Order, "Krafty"
"To sing you must first open your mouth. You must have a pair of lungs, and a little knowledge of music. It is not necessary to have an accordion, or a guitar. The essential thing is to want to sing. Then this is a song. I am singing." Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer
"We shall not cease from exploring, and at the end of our exploring, we will return to where we started, and know the place for the first time." T.S. Eliot
