From the influence of two friends of mine, Tony and Gianni, I have always wanted to become a DJ. Back in February 2006 I brought lights, speakers, amp etc and started doing parties for all occasions. In June of the same year I brought a pair of Denon S3500's and I started getting serious with my Djing, I taught myself how to beat match, scratch and other DJ skills. At the age of 14, in the summer of 2006 (after two months of seriously DJing), I entered a Djing competition at Batchwood Hall Nightclub in St.Albans. I was up against 16 and 17 year olds who had been DJing longer than me, so I was under a bit of pressure. But I didn't let that bother me and I did my thing and I ended up winning it! I was crowned ‘UKCC Under 18’s DJ of 2006!’ From there I became a resident DJ for the Under 18’s Events at Batchwood Hall Nightclub up until the summer of 2008. Whilst at Batchwood, I got to DJ with Lakeside and Platinum and I also got the chance to DJ at an Under 18’s Christmas Event at Area Nightclub (in Watford) with Shola Ama, back in 2006. In summer 2008 I got to DJ in a bar in Mallorca (Sparkles) and another in Cyprus (Stonehenge). Both bars have asked me back for summer 2009! In November 2008 a promotions company called ‘Glamstar Events’ launched a weekly student night called ‘Thirsty Thursdays’ at ‘Club 19’ (Trent Park Golf Club, Bramley Road, London) which I was asked to DJ at. I was also asked to DJ at Glamstar Events’ Christmas Special called ‘Under The Mistletoe’ (at the same venue) which they had a live P.A, Denzee. Bookings
