Christopher Julio Roque. Although Chris's main focus has been the guitar for the past fifteen years, his musical background goes far beyond that. His first instrument, the piano, he learned at a very young age. After years of studying, Christopher began experimenting with the Drum set, which became an important change in his musical career. This change brought forth the exposure to many new styles of music, including the sounds of the musicians that still continue to influence him today. By the age of sixteen, Chris knew that the guitar was the instrument he wanted to make his main focus.Christopher sites his main influences as Phil Keaggy, Jeff Beck, David Gilmore, Eddie VanHalen ,Zack Wylde, Eric Johnson , Steve Vai and Gary Smallwood. Combining these influences together, Chris has developed a highly individual sound consisting of lightning fast lines and a huge presence on stage as well as in the studio. He is a consummate professional who cares deeply about the music he plays.
Chris has been performing in bands more than half his life and has been to Europe and the Middle East on several tours performing for our Armed Forces.
