About Me

I'm a 30-something alumni of Michigan State University and I live in Michigan with my wonderful husband Nick.
We've been together since 1995, Nick proposed on the road to Hana (near the Keanae peninsula) on Maui on November 29, 2004. We were married on November 5, 2005 on the campus of MSU. We returned to Hawai'i for our honeymoon, stopping first at the Big Island and then proceeding back to Maui.
In August, 2006 we became parents of daughters with wings. We were so surprised to be pregnant with twins, and even more surprised when we lost them; it was a very sudden end to what seemed like a 'normal' pregnancy.
I'm very active in LAPOM, the Livingston Area Parents of Multiples group, and Nick and I bowl every Friday night with his brother Steve and our friend Dave G. In the summer we play golf on a league together and came in 4th place this year (our best finish yet - watchout guys!)
We have two 'furkids', Chloe & Gracie, who are cockapoos. They are the sweetest things. Chloe is a doggie diva and hardly gets into trouble. Gracie, on the other hand...woo hoo, what a handful! Lots of practice for when we're (hopefully) blessed with more children.
Nicholas Benton arrived on September 16, 2007 weighing 7lbs 2oz and was 20" long. On October 19, he was up to 10lbs 5oz! What a growing boy!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm, I think that's obvious. I'd love to see my twin daughters, who died prematurely and live in Heaven now. Angelina Nicole & Gabriella Marie have wings!

From a religious standpoint, I would love to meet St. Francis of Assisi, and Mary (the mother of Jesus) - having lost my daughters, I can only imagine what she went through when she lost her only son.

As far as celebrities/famous people go, I'd love to meet Drew Barrymore (she's come through so much in her life), Tiger Woods (why wouldn't you want to meet the best golfer of all time?), Ellen DeGeneres (love her show), Angelina & Brad (what ARE they like, really?)
