Kim Bretton

I worked as an actress for 15 years and did Chekov to Shakespeare, Willy Russell to Jerry Lee Lewis, I drove from London to Jerusalem, I counseled kids in New York, made sculptures of feet and sold them on Camden market, sang country songs in between the fag machine and the gents in working mens clubs, did an open university degree, drove across America, battled depression and won, learned the guitar, sold my own paintings, mastered the rubiks cube, wrote and performed two one woman shows, wrote and had staged two children's plays, demonstrated irons on QVC, married the man of my dreams, had a little boy - Herbie Horrocks, wrote songs, took photographs, breathed it all in, did everything I could think of that frightened me, started a novel approximately 12 times, and I wouldn't change a single thing.
