Je suis né a Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada, en 1972. J’ai tout appris de la vie à Granby, une petite ville non loin de Montréal. J'ai touché à mes première tables tournantes à 16 ans. Steve Watt a été mon mentor... J'ai ensuite débuté dans les 14-18 — endroit où les moins de 18 ans peuvent s’éclater un peu. Et j’ai commencé dans un Cabaret à 17 ans, alors que je n’avais même pas le droit de consommer de l'alcool. Je les faisais pourtant tous « tripper » et danser jusqu’ à 3h a.m. C'est mon défi et mon adrénaline : les faire « tripper » et les faire crier. J’adore contrôler, diriger un « dance floor », c’est mon péché mignon. Pourquoi ? J'aime analyser les gens pour savoir ce qu’ils veulent entendre... Voici quelques « Clubs » où j'ai travaillé : Le Cabaret Super Club, La Pointe St-Jacques, La Maison Blanche, Le Backstreet Station, Le Lounge, Le Cozy, Le Super 9 Night Club, Le Island Night Club et quelques autres. On peut dire que, tout comme Obélix, je suis tombé dans la soupe à un jeune âge.... Je produis ma propre musique depuis deux ans. On peut qualifier mon style musical de « non commercial », même si je sais très bien qu'il faut avoir une sonorité tout de même un peu commerciale pour décrocher les meilleurs succès. Je veux faire une musique qui soit propre à mes « feeling », car les sentiments sont à la base de toute création, je crois. Ainsi, je conçois une musique qui s’écoute du début à la fin. Ce qui crée une chanson c'est la continuité, comme une histoire : il doit y avoir un début stimulant et une fin qui clôt bien le tout. De plus ma musique est fait pour être écouté très fort, ce n’est malheureusement pas fait pour les « headphones » ou les systèmes sans « bass ». Je joue énormément avec les fréquences, c'est une troisième dimension très importante dans une musique. Pour vous situer, je pourrais dire que je voudrais être entre Moby, St-germain et Netzereb — j'ai bien dit aimerais être, ceci est sans prétention. Je cherche « booking » ou gérant pour l'Europe. Je suis déjà en très bon terme avec plusieurs contacts et producteurs de maisons d'édition... Je veux tout simplement m’abandonner à ma passion, Et sur ce point, il n’y a pas de doute. Je suis dans la vie un passionnée. I learn all about life in Granby, a samll town not that far from Montréal. My first contact with “DJ music” and all the equipment the this requires happens when I was sixteen. Steve Watt was my big inspiraion... Then I began to work music in « 14-18 » establishment — place where teenagers under eighteen can have fun. I was hired to work in a bar at seventeen, I was’nt a legal adult yet, but I manage to impress my boss. I made the people on the dance floor dance and have fun all night, till 3 a.m. It was my challenge and my motivation at the same time : made them have a really great time. I love having the controll of a “dance floor”, giving direction with music. And it’s my reward to see people enjoying their night. Why ? Because I like to « analyse » people and then find out what they want to hear as well as how they want to feel… Here’s a couple of “ Clubs” where I used to workin Granby : Le Cabaret Super Club, La Pointe St-Jacques, La Maison Blanche, Le Backstreet Station ; and in Montreal : Le Lounge, Le Cozy, Le Super 9 Night Club, Le Island Night Club and few others. I guess that we can say that, just like “Obélix”, I fell in the soup “of rythm” when I was young.... I also produce my own music for two years now. We can qualify my style being “non comercial”, even if I know that we need to have a bit of “comercial” sound to have the better hits. The important thing for me is doing music which represents me. That means that my music expresses my “feelings”, because feeling is all the music is all about, and so is life. With that being said, I have to add that, like a story, the music in my opinion has to proceed : to the beginning towards an end. Plus, my music is made to be listend very loud, so, for you crazy people outside : be careful with “headphones”. I also play a lot with frequences, in fact it’s a third dimension extremely important in music so to speak. To give a general idea, let’s say that I would like to qualify my sound somewhere in between Moby, St-germain et Netzereb — I said “would like whithout being presomptuous”. I’m looking for “booking” or manager for Europe. I’m already in a favor of a few producers... I simply want to live my passion one hundred per cent. On this point, no doubt, I’m a passionnate person. I put all that I have In everything that I do. So I continue.... Nobody can make me stop the music.......
