Punk driven rock and raw energy is a trademark that Toronto, Canada’s Wrong Crowd is proud to claim. A mixture of modern rock aggression and a chaotic array of emotional lyrical themes are a result of the band’s unmistakable style. Wrong Crowd’s gritty riffs and deep topics are featured in the songs "One More Time", “Give Up†and “Love Hateâ€.
Wrong Crowd was formed by Alex and Dan Maletich. Previously occupied by separate projects, the brothers decided to focus on a group of their own. Touring veteran and old friend Jay "Money" Lioumanis, who grew up across the street from the brothers, was recruited on drums. Stiv Rot was added on bass and completed the band’s dynamic.
A self-titled 6 track EP was recorded in 2007 and produced by EMI’s Casey Marshall (Thornley, Fairfield, My Darkest Days).
