Once upon a time a little bird flew by. Whistling his secrets of travels and more. He sang of a story of wonder and woe. The rumor goes, wait no, excuse us, the "story" goes as follows.
The bird was sitting on a light post somewhere around, oh we don’t don’t know where, because neither did the bird. He just flown in out of dust storm in west Texas and lost all sense of direction. As he brushes the dust from his wings on this post, a man below walking the streets came along. His hair locked in dreads, his face was scraggly, and he spoke of doom and devastation.
"The End is Near! The End is Near!!" the man screamed in haste. "Heed My Warnings, for we will be displaced."
The man spread fear amongst the whole place. People grew anxious, awkward , and many didn’t believe. Some grew hostile, irritable, while several felt sad.
Just about the time the people grew mad, the skies turned dark , but in the distance a rythm drew near. The people suddenly got scared. The music got louder and louder, but the spirit was quite pleasant. They told the tale, of tales to tell. Singing and dancing, and banging their drum. " Ladies and Gentlemen, The End Of The World IS HERE!!" Drum Major screams as they march all about, and shout through the streets. "This is the event that Many have feared. The End of time,THE LAST OF LIFE!! This is a story you’ve heard your whole Life.
The people all scared, then scattered unprepared. Yet the parade continued to march. Once they came, to a glorious halt. They turned and witnessed their woe. Then all fell real sad, for none of them wanted to die. Yet the band couldn’t couldn’t put a smile on their face. The crazy street man, with a stick and a can, then jumped with happy embrace."I warned you, wipe that sad look off your face. THE END IS NOW HERE."
Though the band still tried, the people withered and cried. So the doctors, got put into place. "What’s wrong with you, and why are you so blue. Don’t be scared of leaving this place. Little Children. Brothers and sisters. An answer to depression."
So the people all followed and listened in. The story they told was convincing and bold. They all then changed the look on their face. After a session filled with the good doctors lessons, the band played again.
The music it sang, of rum and gin, living in secret and hiding your sin. As the song soon came to an end, the drum major then jumped and said "Ladies and gentlemen it is here. Take it all off, let’s conquer this fear. There’s no time for glooming, this is your last day. Take a journey with our friends, The Carousel Cabaret."
The lovely ladies of the carousel, and Sick their fealess wonder, told the tales of their tales to tell. Then again the music played.
The Drum Major Sang" Ladies and Gentlemen. Boys and girls. People of all Shapes sizes and color. We welcome you to a most unusual event, which many have feared for centuries. A celebration that comes only at world’s end. A spectacular event of festivities brought to you by your own desire of sin. A party that has been planned since the Garden of Eden. A masquerade of destruction, and Armageddon.
Perhaps, you have heard of the Greatest Show on Earth. Or perhaps not. Well well fellow endangered list, We present to you the LAST Show on Earth. So come one, come all. You don’t have a choice. Welcome, to The End of The World Parade(1943) And THIS IS A CELEBRATION, OF LA FIN DU MONDE!! SO SING AND DANCE, AND LAUGH AND PLAY. ENJOY THE MUSIC FOR ONE MORE DAY!!"
And so the band continued, with the tunes that they played. Making a party out of the last of their day. People again then smiled without doubt. They laughed and they cheered, as they killed all their fear. "On To The End!!" the drummers yelled, and the parade set in motion to the End of the world.
And so the Parade marched to the end of the world, as fire and flames swept all the lands. Now that the end has come and gone. All that remains is skin and bones.
