About Me

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I was a child of the 60's and a teenager of the 70's. A lot of great music came out of Dallas: Steve Miller, Boz Scaggs, Freddie King and out of Texas as a whole-- Edgar & Johnny Winter, Janis Joplin and of course ZZ Top. I started playing the drums when I was fourteen; by the time I was twenty I was playing guitar and singing in many bands. Frustrated with the music business in the early 80's, I studied photography, and by the late 80's/early 90's I got back into playing music again with a lot of my "blues influenced" friends. In 2002, I moved to San Antonio, Texas, and within a year and a half of being there I got a record deal with a band called 10 City Run. We put out a damn good record on the Universal South label out of Nashville. The CD made it to the Texas charts and we produced a music video for CMT. I am currently in a surf band called King Pelican and still enjoying writing and playing my own music as much as I ever did. Thanks for listening.
