Oh, give these clay feet wings to fly, to touch the face of the stars.

About Me

Text Generator - Glitter Text - Counters - YourGen.com - MySpace Layouts

I am who I am and that's that. I'm complex and creative. I'm personable yet distant. Cautious but willing to take risks. CRAZY! I love singing and acting. I like to stand outside in the rain ~ just because I can ~ with my eyes closed and let it hit me in the face. I love those heavy thunderstorms that persuade you to crawl underneath the sheets, where you can hear the rain pounding all night long on a tin roof. When leaves on the trees rustle from the blowing wind, or when the waves crash upon the beach, I close my eyes to listen...

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

My Interests

Family: my kids, my husband - first and foremost. Forensic Science...from Ballistics to Pathology and Criminal Profiling. Target practice. I'm a Country Girl, so I love the woods, being at the river, fishing, camping, hiking and having the type of bonfires where you drink and laugh all night. I love the beach, lots of movies and lots of music. I like chilling out with my friends when I can - I love 'em like family.

I'd like to meet:

Who would I like to meet? Maybe you. I want real friends, not motherfakers. My friends must have integrity, be truly reliable, honest and trustworthy. If you possess these characteristics then you have a chance to be in my "inner circle." Famous people I would like to meet: Ben Burnley from Breaking Benjamin, Jonny Lee Miller, Anthony Hopkins, Mike Meyers, Matthew McConaughey, Keanu Reeves, Colin Farrel, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Kathy Bates, Nicholas Cage, Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton.

Music:

..
Who Wants To Live Forever

Movies:

Here are some of my favorites: Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Mind Hunters, Platoon, Hamburger Hill, The Hunt For Red October, Major Payne, The Pest, Tombstone, Behind Enemy Lines, Behind Enemy Lines-Axis of Evil, We Were Soldiers, Click, S.W.A.T., The Italian Job, The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, Slingblade, Failure to Launch, Shrek, Shark Tale, The General's Daughter, Nutty Professor, Frailty and the Boondock Saints just to name a few.

Television:

C.S.I. Miami, Dr. G. Medical Examiner, Animal Planet (mostly any nature show), documentaries on nature or Native American Culture, The First 24, Don't Forget The Lyrics (with Wayne Brady) and my all-new favorite, ELI STONE. Although, I am not sure if the second season was cancelled??

Books:

The Holy Bible, The Stranger Beside Me, by Ann Rule (this is a very informative book about Ted Bundy); Some of Stephen King's work; Tracker - Hunting Down Serial Killers, by Dr. Maurice Godwin & Fred Rosen; The Human Predator - A Historical Chronicle of Serial Murder & Forensic Investigation, by Katherine Ramsland, Ph.D.; Journey Into Darkness - this book follows the FBI's premier investigative profiler as he penetrates the minds & motives of the most terrifying serial criminals, by John Douglas & Mark Olshaker; Black Elk Speaks - Medicine Man of the Sioux Indians (excellent read), Trail of Tears, Pretty Shield - Medicine Woman of the Crow Indians, & The TommyKnockers (Stephen King).

Heroes:

Though I'm not deeply religious, I do believe in Jesus Christ. Thus, I have to thank Him for dying on a cross for my sorry butt when it should have been me ~ He SAVED MY LIFE! Hell is a REAL place (yes, it's hell enough on earth, but this is nothing compared to the damnation of hell that potentially awaits you). Where do you want to spend your eternity? No, there won't be any floating around "in between." I know there are alot of people out there who don't believe in God. I used to have a hard time fathoming and comprehending a LIVING GOD, but I've seen WAY too much in my life and been through WAY too much to deny His exsistence; there comes a point where knowledge can supercede the unknown. He is here for you whether or not you want Him to be and He is a living and caring God who LOVES YOU regardless of what you believe. He's waiting to be acknowledged and to give you a chance for eternal life! Ask Him into your heart; it doesn't matter what your past was like; it doesn't matter what your life is like now ~ the point is to ask Him to forgive you and save you. Better safe than sorry. When the end comes, not everyone is ready to go...will you be? A huge THANK YOU goes out to all military personnel past, present and future who have chosen to serve their country and fellow man. Last but not least, all of our men and women in any field law enforcement, and the behind~the~scenes individuals, like Dispatchers (as I once was) that "watch over" those in the field and make things flow.
