Pumpkin Records is more of a collective than a "Record Label". Bands on Pumpkin are on either because, we like them, they have helped us out, or we think they deserve helping out. No one is signed, contracts are bullshit and the bands are simply on a trust basis (fuck signing yourself and your music to someone else!) We do not deal with bands because we see them as "marketable", so if you are looking to conquer the world, have the right haircuts, wear the right clothes and burst onto the front page of NME don't bother here, like i said, we are a collective built on the basis of helping each other, not making millions. We are anti-racist, anti-homophobic, anti-facist, anti-sexism, pro-choice, if you are racist, homophobic, facist, sexist don't bother adding us as you will most probably just get told to fuck off If you like us and what we do, feel free to send demos, or just add us, we listen to all the bands, send us a message for contact details. We aim to put out CD's cheap as possible, none of the £14.99 corporate bollox, we book gigs and tours, can't gaurantee you the world or will make you loads of money, but we will do our best to help you out however we can.

How can you help?

Here are a few of many ideas to get you started.
1. Download the gig posters print copies and put them up in your college, Uni, workplace, local shops etc.
2. Forward the gig details to all your friends, if you have copy and paste the gigs into their comments box so that anyone looking at their site can see it.
3. Update listings on other network sites such as Skiddle, Facebook, Punkrockers.com, Bebo etc.
4. Text all your friends the details.
5. Flyer any gigs that your going to.
6. Flyer random strangers.
7. Tell everyone else to do the same...
8. MOST IMPORTANT ATTEND THE GIG!The more you attend the more bands we can book!
