About Me

Tom was born August 26th 1980 in Zlin - Czech Republic. He spent the most distinctive part of his life in Germany (Bonn). Besides studying on a German high school, Tom used to do Modern pentathlon and played professionally basketball. In both he has achieved some major success. In 1996 Tom moved to Malta, where he stayed for one year. In September 1998 Tom has returned to his home town in the Czech Republic, where he graduated at a high school two years later. From 2002 until 2007 Tom was studying Marketing and Social Communications at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, where he graduated with a Master's degree. In March 2004 the agency Eso Music Production discovered Tom's outstanding vocal talent and decided to work with him. In June 2004 the first single Sexsational has been released, which immediately became a number 1 hit in the Czech Republic (IFPI chart + Bravo chart). In August 2004 Tom participated at the International song festival Voice of Asia in Almaty (Kazakhstan), where he won the Award for the Best Sound, the Sympathy Prize from the viewers of the Asian Music Television HIT TV and the Journalists' Prize. In November 2005 Tom released his debut album Sexsational, containing songs mainly written by Michael Jay (Grammy Award for Celine Dion's album 'Falling Into You'; written songs for Martika, Kylie Minogue, Jon Secada and many more) and Jorge Corante (written songs for Adina Howard, Deborah Cox, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Scary Movie 3 OST and many more). In August 2007 Tom signed a publishing deal with EMI Publishing CZ as a songwriter; writing lyrics for two major projects in the Czech Republic - Le Monde & Verona. That was basically the official start of Tom's songwriting career. In September 2007 Tom moved to Los Angeles. At the moment he's writing songs with American and Canadian songwriters including Michael Jay, Vince DeGiorgio, Don McLeod, David 'Prince' Blair, Aileen de la Cruz, Jennifer Hershman and many many more. Even though he's thousands of miles away from the Czech Republic, he's still very active on working with Headdy on their projects like the Ghetto Jamz Party, Beat Brothers, Headdy's new album etc. Not to forget his articles for the Bravo Magazine and www.ukagarage.cz.
