I will seriously SHANK your face!

About Me

There are some that call me Red Scarf, others Li'l Poon. Have an affinity towards garden gnomes and my fabulous boyfriend of 4 years, but an aversion to clowns and things that go bump in the night. Hate to run, unless it's after the ice cream truck and in that case, I'm always down! Who all seen the leprechaun, say "yeah"!body{background-image:url("http://i106.photobucket.co m/albums/m241/heathercapri/nick/whitefield.jpg"); background-attachment:fixed; background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position: bottom center;.r{} scrollbar-arrow-color:ffffff; scrollbar-track-color:000000; scrollbar-shadow-color:000000;

My Interests

Best Buddies (have you chatted with a person who has autism today? I know I have!); Isla Vista musicals; people with manners; Haribo gummies; oh gosh, Roy Rogers with Diet Coke and extra cherries; steak fries; Kyle; Arrested Development; homeless dogs; watching people drop their cell phones on the bike path... good god, that's hilarious!

I'd like to meet:

People who say 'Please' when they want something from you, 'Thank you' when they have received something helpful, and 'Excuse me' after emitting bodily gasses. Those who are interesting, but not to the point where they scare the hell out of you. Anyone who has been married in the forest wearing tights, a feathered hat, and sword belt is of EXTREME interest to me. Oh yes, and anyone who has not been heavily involved with Vanilla Ice sing-alongs, midget butt pirates, or Jane Fonda exercise videos.

Music:

Classic Rock, Queen, Elton John, old Billy Joel (not new Billy Joel, because the new Billy Joel has a thing for girls my age and that's just gross), Pinback, Deathcab, the Shins, the Cars, Saves the Day, Boston, Gavin DeGraw, the Rent soundtrack, Journey (Anyway you want it, that's the way you need it), Postal Service, my cousin Little John, Led Zepplin, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper (Sexual Healing anyone?), so many more- hard to think

Movies:

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (firstly, the BBC version, followed in close second by the latest); Little Miss Sunshine; Amelie; Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory; The Little Mermaid (although pretty much anything Disney up until the Lion King); Love Actually; Saved; Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre; Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; Wet Hot American Summer; Mean Girls; Return to Oz; The Witches (oh Anjelica, you rock my world!); Napoleon Dynamite; Old School; Wedding Crashers; Rent; Anne of Green Gables; Anne of Avonlea; Moulin Rouge; The Other Sister; The Chipmunk Adventure; Legends of the Fall; Seven; Zoolander... again, so many more, hard to think. Basically any fairy tale come to life (especially Hansel and Gretel and Sleeping Beauty).

Television:

Strangers with Candy, Project Runway, Arrested Development, Reno 911, America's Next Top Model (if anything, for the hilariousness that is Tyra Banks), Family Guy, Beverly Hills 90210 (R.I.P.)

Books:

All 6 of the Harry Potter books, A Confederacy of Dunces, Of Mice and Men, East of Eden, The Witches, Matilda, I Know This Much Is True, anything by David Sedaris, anything by Augusten Burroughs, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Nanny Diaries, Youth in Revolt, Revolting Youth, The Wednesday Witch, Blackbird, Flowers for Algernon, Mr. Percy's Garden, Santa Mouse, Tom the T.V. Cat, Prep, Middlesex, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Running With Scissors, The Chronicles of Narnia (particularly The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe), Sleepers, The Secret History, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Wicked, Fall On Your Knees, The Way the Crow Flies- many, many others. Those who truly know me realize how much I would rather spend my time reading then doing anything else (with a few exceptions of course)!

Heroes:

I miss grandma.

My Blog

Gap Girls

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMVHyskg0JQ Quite possibly the funniest SNL clip of all time.  Anyone wish to contest this notion?...

Leprechaun shenanigans.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6w1APj5CRV4   Sigh... if only all news casts could be as superb as this one.  Does anyone have an ancient leprechaun flute handy?  I may need to borrow it...
