DJ Rampant

Darren “Rampant” has been DJ'ing since 1995, and made his DJ debut at the legendary Diehard in Leicester. Production was soon to follow, andin 1997 his 1st track (Hardcore Expressions) was signed to Sy & Unknown's Triffik Toons label.
After the birth of his daughter he took break from DJ'ing and production until late 2004, when he teamed up with Flyin' & Alistair Storm andproduced "X-Rated!".
In August 2005 he co produced the vocal anthem “Rhythm” which was signed by Kevin Energy for Hardcore Collections.
Since then he has worked with some of the biggest names in the scene including Gammer, Joey Riot, Darwin, Alistair Storm, Arkitech, Sparkyand Oli G. He has releases signed to Muffin Music, Thin N Crispy, Notorious Vinyl, Lethal Theory, Relentless Vinyl, Hardcore Collections, FastMusic, Bedlam Records and Graffiti Trax the label he runs alongside MC Obie.
His tracks have featured on the following albums: Hardcore Massif, Bonkers 16 & 17, Hardcore Nation, Hardcore Heaven 3,Freeformation: Wise Up Get Stupid, Hardcore Reunited 2, Helter Skelter Masters @ Work Vol 3 and Off Yer Nut 2000.
Rampant has recently setup his own studio and has been putting in the hours to perfect his engineering skills. His main productioninfluences are; Gammer, Re-Con, Alistair Storm, Sharkey, Stormtrooper, Kurt & Joey Riot. He has written a number of tracks alongside Petruccioso keep an eye out for these in the future!
In September 2005 Rampant won the UK Scene DJ competition and played the last set in the main arena at Dizstruxshon.
Since then he has DJ’ed at some of the biggest events in the UK, including Uproar @ The Sanctuary, Hardcore Euphoria @ Ministry Of Sound,Vibealite @ Mission, Fruit Club @ Brunel Rooms, Hardcore Overload @ The Emporium as well as playing in Spain for HTID In The Sun.
