I've been into hip-hop/RAP Music ever since i can remember. I got involved as wanting to become a Rap Artist Back In 97`- 98` When i Heard of A UnderGround Rap Group (South Coast Coalition), Out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana . I was 12 or 13, They really made an impact on me, There really all i listened to Back then besides Bone Thugs an Harmony & Three Six Mafia. I Showed all my friends thier Music an Said i Wanted to be Like Them (S.C.C.) They laughed at ME!! Until they knew i wasn't playing.(but they still laughed) I've been to most thier show's (SCC) In Baton Rouge ever since BILLARDS 1998 in Central L.A. ( EVERYONE WHO KNOWS S.C.C IN CENTRAL KNOW'S WHERE THAT WAS--NEXT TO FROGS), an i met them when i was going on 14. Time went by an all it felt to me was JUST A DREAM THAT I THOUGHT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. A couple Months down the road I met up an become friends With CK aka Cookee & JD-Profit. I didn't know that they were into Rapping until i heard thier music at CK's house out in Central (GreenWell Springs, LA) one Day, I was 14- So we all become good friends Quick. I wrote my 1st VERSE to a beat CK made,--Time to record it (STICK MIC) I was happy. I didnt get it down, it was harder than i thought it would be. I didnt get frustrated, I just needed some improvement which they Were Glad to GIVE. They taught me alot at the age of 14. Then tragic Struck. Ck Moved somewhere out in Baton Rouge, I Moved to Red Oak Dr. off of SherWood in Baton Rouge, an JD stayed living in Central. SO we had NO contact with each other, but we made a PACT before we last seen each other to become Rap artist.( MADE TRUBLU ENTERTAINMENT) (O` yea.. WE ALL LISTENED TO (S.C.C). A couple years went by, Still NO word from JD an Ck. I introduced everyone that i knew in SHERWOOD to th Music of SCC. They said it was tight an they starting bumping to it. I thought to myself I wish they were listening to me. About a year an a half went by then i moved back to Central. I was trying to find JD, but i didn't know where he lived at in Central. Time went on an from central i moved to Walker, LA ( age 16 ) ( WHICH I SHOWED AN INTRODUCED THEM TO S.C.C) i always wrote my rymes down, even got in trouble for writing them in SCHOOL, (got suspended for the cursing in the lyric's i wrote). Time went on an i eventually met up with JD (i can't remember how(I'll Ask him an CHANGE this to how it happened). He knew where Ck was staying at, i flippied out to finally see JD an he knew where CK was staying. We went straight to his house off of Evengalene Street(Spell Check) in Baton Rouge. It was great, like it happened for a REASON!! (WE GOT BOOKOO ALCOHOL) We all rode back to my house out in Walker an recorded some decent Tracks DRUNK..NO LIE (AGE 16 - 17) (quality was bad-Stick Mic an no recording hardware). Handed out demo's to everyone we knew. we went to our first studio well i think my first studio (AGE 18) which Was HARD TIME PRODUCTIONS in central-- Producer TranQuil. We All got off on a BAD START (mind ya business). After that we saved up our Money (what little we had due to bills an everything to Build Our Own STUDIO in my house. We got a nice Tube Mic an A M-box2 with i nice keyboard an used (STILL HAVE) my closet for the BOOTH. Everything was hooked up wrong from the start, I knew the quality should have sounded better than it did, but i didnt know what was wrong. TranQuil an I started to talk again not to long after i first met him, he came over an helped with our problem ( THANKS ALOT DAWG ) an now we are up an running with some NICE QUALITY. An Now TranQuil is OUR PRODUCER an A GOOD one at that. Thanks for ya'lls help CK, JD, AN TRANQUIL & an by the GOOD GRACE OF GOD!!!!!!That brought back a bunch of Memories an some tears, R.I.P To my DAD I LOVE YOUThat's basically how it happened, i left out some things ( PERSONAL) crying, jail time ECT.FAVORITE TRACK- MAINTAIN by: South Coast Coalition If your wondering why i showed SO MANY people Music by SCC is because thats REALLY all I Listened To an still to TODAY.
