About Me

The Mayhem Machine
A Disturbing look through the Kaleidoscopic world of Nonsensedelia
Since its earliest incarnation, Roy G. Biv's Mayhem Machine has been cranking
out hit after painful hit. In the late 60s Palookasburgh played host to the
Controversial never-ending Party/Shin dig: the Magnetic Lemonade Base Exams.
The Base Exams featured a wide array of nonsensedelic distractions for its unwitting participants, and literally tens of bands preformed for the pelvic driven crowds.
One such act whose reputation to startle and yet bore the stunned gawkers, who incidentally demanded their money back, at these free shows, was the Positronic Stopwatch. The reputation of the stopwatch was one of sappy nonsensedelic bang pop. mixadelic mayhem and cacophonic conundrums washed the abandoned nightclub of any paying customers.
Roy G. Biv, the founder, promoter, art director, and front man behind the Positronic Stopwatch was a mystery wrapped in an enigma dipped in a vague sauce to say the least. He seemed to pop on the bang scene from an apparent nowhere. Rumored to be responsible for booking acts for the Base Exams, he invariably saved the choicest Gigs for his own band. In no time at all he had propelled the Positronic Stopwatch to a purgatorial obscurity.
After a reorganization of the band, Roy transformed the Stopwatch into the Spectrum Dawn in the mid 70s. The new name came with a new gig: Nonsensedelc Religious Study in a Group/Communal Living format. Comprised mostly of former band members, roadies, and brainwashed crowd members, the Dawners were commonly referred to as another Hokey Cult at the time.
During the Mid 80s the Dawners went through another Metamorphosis. After a lengthy absence Roy G. Biv went into the music magic business. Representing small acts around the Palookasburg area, recording their tunes and then putting miniature microchips with the songs on them into the disappointingly unpopular micro-mayhem-figure toys.In the last few years there has been a reemergence in the local palookasburg music scene, and with it the MAYHEM MACHINE has come'eth.
This time around Roy is producing a handful of new bands:
The INFERNAL Racket
The Fuss
Intel-a-Phonic
SKB and the Rapping Rocket Racers
Black Stabbath!
The Titanium Violets
& There has even been mild interest in a Revival of the Positronic Stopwatch's blend of Nonsensedelic Tom Foolery
