His lyrics are captivated by playing with words and using metaphors based on classic stories to reveal what he feels. For example, Thruwitu was based on The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus, or Damn which was based on the Al Capone classic story. Once you hear the song, you can feel a transparent emotion. He believes that songs could heal the soul, that's why Time to Heal is used as an album title. He tried to heal himself and hopes the songs could heal others.
Silly Red Wig / SRW was a big fan of Harold H. Bloomfield M.D. 's books and the poems of Tigress Luv (The Breakup Guru). Luckily Dr. Bloomfield gave his permission to use his words and Tigress Luv even offered links from her websites to help the CD selling. To explore other possibilities in songwriting, he also asked his MySpace friends to help him write the lyrics on It's Over.
Only two weeks after SRW uploaded the songs on MySpace, he already received offers from radios like RadioTV (Time Warner Cable's Independent Music Channel) and Break Thru Radio. Again, thanks to MySpace, he has made a gentlemen agreement with Leiticia Pestova , a multi talented model/classical musician/cage fighter, who agreed to model in his CD cover. The Silly Red Wig's logo was beautifully designed by Myria Fatriza .
There are a lot of bright things in store for SRW, including a debut album titled Time to Heal, which will be available worldwide at CD Baby and iTunes on November 11, 2006 . SRW delay the release of Time to Heal to accommodate new songs to be featured on the album. That's the bad news, the good news is now you can download I Like It Like That in full version. The album itself will be released in the near future, so stay tuned!
