If you don't know me then I may be a little different than what you're used to, but that could be a good thing. I've never been one to have any concrete ideaologies, I just take life as it comes and I'm quick to give a smile and a laugh. My sense of humor can be a little dark at times, but it's alive and well and I should be thankful that incarceration hasn't dulled that. I'm a history major who should have been in school on those late nights when I was clubbing and running the streets getting into trouble - but better late than never. I was born in San Francisco and raised at Burning Man in Black Rock City. My personality is a little off the beaten path and I'm still wild, tatooed, and a bit unpredictable, just a little bigger now and a lot smarter. To all my people out there, prison can't hold me down so be ready for me - I'll be back.
I want to thank you for the love and support you've sent my way- it makes a difference. Never hesitate to drop me a letter, and throw in some pictures - I love mail. Prison is no place for a person, so never let anyone glorify it, but I can't complain because all of life's day's can't be sunny- you take the good with the bad. Just know that incarceration can't keep me down, the kid is doing well and I'm educating myself mind, body and soul, so keep the porch light on- you'll see me again.
I'd like to thank you all for the outpouring of pictures, letters, books, and visits taat have been brought my way, its staggering. Joey has been sending me all the comments posted on my page and it's a beautiful thing to know that while I'm gone I'm not forgotten. The pictures and letters are even better and more personal, and of course the books feed the brain. Still welding and pushing hard in the pain for my degree, of that you can be sure.
Folsom may be a crip city in gangland USA but I'm still showing them how we do it the Bay. So next time your out, drink one for the kid. I may be transferring next year, and if so, it will be to Solano state pen or back to San Quentin, I'll keep you updated as the situation warrents. Keep the letters coming and don't forget the pictures, they remind me of the free world.
