About Me

This is the little box where you are supposed describe to the world who you really are, but if you are a true friend, then you've already discovered this person. Those who do not know me can feel free to paint the picture of my character that suits them best. I'm not going to try to win you over. I'm not going to get caught up in your labeling scheme in a desperate attempt to make yourself look better. This is me. Take it or leave it.That being said, I'm a 26-year-old mother, wife, and student living in Long Island. I moved here from New Hampshire, and before that -- Maine. I work hard for what I have, and try to absorb as much information about life as I can hold. Honestly, though, humans have really gotten me down lately.I love my son and his father, my new husband. We have a full life we share with our two cats, Zeppelin and Sofie. We found out we were pregnant in November, and just found out that it's a boy. We're building a small army. Maybe start out with a hockey team...

My Interests

Fresh air, yoga, art, math, music, MERLOT, cooking, PIANO, dancing, fighting, freedom, honesty, respect and equality.

I'd like to meet:

Christopher Walken and Steve Buschemi, Borat (nothing turns me on like a freak who can move); R. Lee Ermy; Jaromir Jagr, Colton Orr (what a bad-ass), Ryan Hollweg (because he's short and chubby and doesn't take shit from anyone) and the New York Rangers; Ronaldinho; my illigitamite brother(s) and/or sister(s); whomever is running this show; my conscience (that little bastard hasn't done much for me lately).

Music:

AC/DC; Regina Spektor; Portishead; Sarah; System of a Down; White and Rob Zombie; Scum of the Earth; Beethoven; L.L.; Bloodhound Gang; Gorillaz; C.C.R.; G&R; Korn; anything swing, jazz, blues or blue grass (it just needs to make me feel it); Bob Marley; Sublime; Capleton; Method; Eminem; Kitty (those chicks can scream); LIVE; Bob Dylan's writing; Tchaikovsky; Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack; NIN; NightWish; FlyLeaf; Nonpoint; Skindread; Tool; Fiona; Charlie Daniels; Cyndy Lauper; Madonna; Nirvana; Pantera; all Reggae.

Movies:

GOONIES, Snatch, Grandma's Boy, Clockwork Orange, anything with Chirstopher Walken, Return to Oz, Finding Nemo, How High, Full Metal Jacket, Chronicles of Narnia, The Wall, South Park, the Blade Trilogy, Underworld, Lost Boys, The Cell, 40-year-old Virgin, Wayne's World (1st was better than the 2nd), Undercover Brother, The Craft, all 3 TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles), Labyrinth, Pirates of the Caribbean, Finding Neverland, Sister Act, Airheads.

Television:

Not much of that crap. I love CSI and the New York Rangers, Scrubs, and Who's Line Is It Anyways (old and new). MTV was cool once. When it was really music television. Reality shows are unreal and the news is too depressing. America's Got Talent is great. There's something fishy going on in the 'Hoff's room. Is it just me, or is that guy extra silly by the end of the show? Just an observation..... ..

Books:

Di Vinci Code, Behind Violet Eyes, Intensity, The Darkangel and the Icarus, Tuck Everlasting, The Yellow Wallpaper (short story), Flowers for Algernon, The Metamorphasis, A Christmas Carol, A Tale of Two Cities.

Heroes:

My brother - Johnny Bravo, Strongbad, and the TMNT.
