Clas is a swedish worshipleader, songwriter & producer.
In 2006 he released his 2nd album. This time with translated favourite songs into swedish from artists like MercyMe, Michael W Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Laura Story, Marie Barnett, Sonicflood & Jeff Deyo.
He is in this moment producing his third worshipalbum wich will be released in the end of february 2008! Watch Out!!!
Clas is married to Anna and they have 2 girls, Melina & Agnes.
The Vårdstedt family are members of Ryttargårdskyrkan. That is a church affiliated to EFK- Evangeliska Frikyrkan (The Evangelical Free Church), internationally known as "Interact".
This denomination has about 360 churches throughout Sweden and about 29,000 members. It has a long history of mission work overseas and is today active in about 40 countries. EFK is an Evangelical, Baptist, Charismatic and Mission-minded denomination and our church fully supports this position.
Evangelical - means that we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, teaching the truth and emphasising the need of individual conversion.
Baptist - means that we practice believers' baptism.
Charismatic - means that we believe that God wants to give His church gifts and abilities, just as He did in the early church. We are open to the work of God's Spirit and believe that the Christian life involves a dimension that cannot be logically explained.
Mission-minded - means that the church's responsibility to take the Gospel to people who haven't heard and to help people in need is not just an extra activity but is a vital part of the life of the church.
