Originally he planned to be an author, writing short stories in his free time which later turned to poetry. Growing up listening to Jay-Z, Big L, and Tupac it was only a matter of time until he attempted to right rhymes himself. At 14 it began. Filling several notebooks with songs before ever displaying his talent to others. Now at the age of 20 he has become a lyrical threat. Truth prides himself in being an artist with a limitless range with songs from "Talking to Myself" which speaks on politics to the more commercial "I'm Fly". He's been often compared to 3 of his favorite rappers Joe Budden, Lupe Fiasco, and Common. Not only is his work ethic and determination insane he also has the swagger and talent to be a major player in the rap game. "I just want to bring back the lyrics man, I'm always gonna try to flood the radio with bangers but i really just want my joints to touch people. That's real music to me." Truth is currently working on his second indie album "The 8th Deadly Sin" . "I've been working on this album for sometime now trying to perfect it, i want to make sure I'm putting out the best product i possibly can." Truth is the also the leader of his group First Family with fellow rapper Hollywood & singer Brandon Taylor "I'm an artist, a writer i don't just label myself as a rapper." Young Truth proves that Hip Hop is not dead at all and is hungry to let the world know
