DAMASCUS

Chris and Derek originally started writing together almost fifteen years ago. Songs such as 'Moment of Truth' and 'Three Shots too Many' and others, are still performed today with the full electric band and also at acoustic shows. After meeting and subsequently working together in blues and soul twelve piece band 'Puckalips Now' then splitting and forming North East rock band 'Wanted' a break was taken which lasted a couple of years, as Chris and Derek done their own thing.After this time, the light shone, and after a quick phone call, a 'meeting' was hastily arranged, and the writing begun once again. The first song to be penned was ROAD TO DAMASCUS.We now play as a full electric four piece band, and also as an acoustic duo or trio. (Depending on the wind direction!)Our emphasis is on songwriting and performing these songs 'live' and hopefully further support slots with 'name' bands. We supported country legend Billy Joe Shaver and Shooter Jennings last year, which was an interesting experience.
