Hmmm....well...I'm honest, loyal, a little anal and fun-loving.I'm also a very sensitive person. Not, "oh my goodness you called me ugly, now I'm gonna cry", (though that would hurt my feelings). I'm more of a "I could never say anything to hurt you" kind of a person. I remember being in elementary school, and watching a film in which a guy is constantly falling, getting bonked on the head, etc. While the whole class laughed, I was stone faced, failing to see what was funny, and thinking he could get hurt. I guess that's why I became a nurse. It's a great feeling to know that you can make the slightest difference in someone's day. If they are scared, you can hold their hand, if they are in pain, you can comfort them. I truly love my job, it's a great fit for me.
That being said, I'm a huge fan of horror movies!! I grew up on them, and I still eagerly await new releases of scary movies. I can easily envision myself as a 85 year old sitting in the front seat of a theater, watching "Friday the 13th part 37" with a blood-thirsty glee. I also love video games. Right now the game I play most is Grand Theft Auto, but I also enjoy the "cute" games too.
Travel is also a passion. My father was in the military, and I spent most of my life living all over the world. Seeing other countries has given me a wanderlust that will never be satiated. Luckily, I will be able to blend travel and nursing. My plan is to work as a travel nurse, and travel the world. Ultimately though, I want to end up back on the east coast. I moved to MN from Virginia, and I miss the warm weather, and the ocean. However, my next destination is definitely Florida.
