In Fiction - THE FORECAST OUT NOW

Debut Album Out 2008

About Me

In Fiction are a 5-piece melodic rock band from Adelaide, SA.

Forming in early 2005, In Fiction have worked tirelessly to find both originality and diversity in their song-writing. This has been captured on their debut EP - 'The Four Letter Failure' - which was released through Boomtown Records in August, 2006.
A tight, explosive live set has seen the band share the stage with a number of national and international acts, including Unwritten Law (US), Anberlin (US), Silverstein (Can), Spitalfield (US), Misery Signals (US), Kisschasy, Antiskeptic, Gyroscope, After the Fall, I Killed The Prom Queen and many more.
The band recently spent November in Broadcast/Third Avenue Studios recording a follow up EP, again with respected engineer/producer Darren Thompson at the helm. Due for release on March 24, the new material is a definite progression for 'in fiction' - demonstrating a more developed, mature sound.
With upcoming shows around the country, the boys have a busy year ahead. Come check out In Fiction at a show near you...

In Fiction are a 5-piece melodic rock band from Adelaide, SA.

Forming in early 2005, In Fiction have worked tirelessly to find both originality and diversity in their song-writing. This has been captured on their sophomore EP - 'Ghost' - which was released through Boomtown Records / Pyro-Pit records in Australia / Japan March 2007. 'Ghost' debuted at no. 11 in the ARIA singles charts, receiving critical acclaim and radio airplay on both triple J and Nova radio.

A tight, explosive live set has seen the band share the stage with a number of national and international acts, including Unwritten Law (US), Anberlin (US), The Matches (US), Silverstein (Can), Spitalfield (US), Misery Signals (US), Kisschasy, Antiskeptic, Gyroscope, After the Fall, I Killed The Prom Queen and many more.

2007 has seen the band tour extensively - playing in excess of 50 shows in the first 6 months alone. With this level of touring looking to continue for the remainder of the year, the boys will be busier still - with the second single 'If You're Up Late' from the EP 'Ghost' now released with an accompanying film clip.
