FN:7 is Ramon Gràcia. This catalan born in Barcelona started his interest for electronic music with the young age of 14 years old, being passionate for the sounds of techno and electro. Detroit, Chicago, Berlin or Stockholm influenced and made him become an electronic-music vinyl addict. He started djing at the age of 18, improving his skills with lots of hours at the decks and having the opportunity to see the best talented djs of the world playing in Barcelona. With 19 years old he started playing in Zaragoza in Clubs such El Bisonte, Predicadores and having a monthly residence at Psychodelic Underground. In Barcelona he played at Domestic as well as in different parties to keep improving and showing his skills and good music taste. At the age of 22 he moved to New York City for 15 months got friendship with the present history of the New York techno. Names such Adam X, Dan Physics or Richard Hinge gave him the opportunity to learn about the techno scene deeply and playing at his residence every Sunday at Cash Checking in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Coming back to Barcelona, Ramon and his best friend Alex founded The Headbangers, a project were the melodic and cold techno sound is the base. An example is the released remix of Cat Complex's Electric Boys at the Miami based label Destune in 2006. This solid project give them some gigs where they showed their impressive livepa at clubs such Torn de Nit and Be good. A part of The Headbangers, Ramon is now in the studio, giving shape to his own project FN:7 where the techno and electro are the reference and playing also at venues like La Cova, sharing line up with artists such Gayle San, Mark Williams or The Advent.
