About Me

Welcome
This is the place I will be putting my solo music from now on
My older band material can be found at
The Perfect Body

If you are here looking for my anti war song somebody's somone you will find it at War Protest
I am a songwriter and the songs on this site come from my debut solo album Memory Man. The material on here at present is I suppose kind of folk country influenced. The songs are taken from my 2004 debut album Memory Man.
Memory Man is a pretty mellow introspective piece of work. I probably never gigged the material enough as I should have. In 2005 I did a short tour of The Highlands as part of The Claire Campbell Band and also as her solo support . The Memory Man material went down a storm there, so I may do it live again in the future. I tend not too gig too often now as I am generally booked up with my function band.

I used to write more punky stuff for my Glasgow band The Perfect Body and may still do again if the mood takes me.
I am currently writing some more obscure ambient tracks and will be doing this for a while. My music is all self produced with support from Perfect Body Bassist Gordon Murphy. Recently it tends to be the production side of things that interests me more than the songwriting.

I teach guitar and perform live frequently in a function band The Red Hot Poker Band
