There's more to me than just music but it does grab one of the top spots of my life. i'm an old bass rocker that played brass instruments through school then when i was 15 i got a bass because rock bands do not have tubas in them. i will die with my boots on beating a bass even if i'm only playing to a stereo in my room.
My 1st bass that i earned cutting grass for Winkie Ludwig about 30 years ago. It was a warped neck water ski shaped Lyle. i never should've seen that bass or Winkies' Beatles and Grand Funk posters. i've been a bass playin rock and roll nut bag ever since then. Damn You Winkie! ~LOL~ Then Mary-Jean introduced me to Terry "T-Bird" Wheeler and The Brain then that was all she wrote. Been on the road of rock 30 Years After... Hence the myspace address.
i played Grady Cole in 1990 with the band Hellkat. i was the vocalist writer and bassist for that band. Note: i use the word "vocalist" very loosely. i really couldn't but we couldn't find a singer so i did it. i couldn't pass that gig up especially when it was going to be in a entertainment facility i had always dreamed of playing in since i was a kid. Miss Crystal put that show together. Thank You Crystal!
i've also played many clubs and partays throughout NC. Tried out for Ozzy in 1994 for the Ozmosis album. Was a dead head type follower and roadie for CROSSWIND i think back in '97. That was great fun! Still have living memories there! i was on 95.7 WXRC FM Local Licks with my band Hard Party with DJ Anthony Micheals. That was awesome! i had always dreamed of hearing one of my songs on a radio station. Some dreams have a life span. Some lives have a dream span...winners and losers meet the same end. Leave Something Behind...Because we all go somewhere else.
