Güvenç Daüstün was born in 1978 in Ankara. He attended Hacettepe University State Conservatory and was a student to tenor Pekin Kirgiz. When he passed the exam of Ankara State Opera, he had been the youngest member at this institution.
He attended the master classes given by mezzo-soprano Ksgr. Prof. Margarita Lilova at International Varna Festival held at Varna in Bulgaria and one year later he won the exams of Vienna Music and Performing Arts becoming Prof. Lilovas student this time. He started to work in Vienna right after he left Ankara State Opera.
His first leading part was Belcore at G. Donizettis "LElisir DAmore" at Izmir State Opera. He was the first ever to sing baritone solos as well as the countertenor solo in a body at Innsbruck Austria in C. Orffs "Carmina Burana" conducted by Georg Schmöhe and he was really appreciated.
He was among the soloists whom played at world premier of the Greek composer Perikles Liakakis opera "Der gestiefelte Kater" in Vienna.
He sang with Fazl Say, Genco Erkal and the Eurovision winner Sertab Erener at the famous Turkish pianist and composer Fazil Says "Nazim" oratorio first at Ephesus Ancient Theater and then at Istanbul Harbiye Open-air Theater and Atatürk Culture Center. He participated in various recitals with Fazil Say and performed world premiers of Says songs. Recently he recorded Says "Nazim" on CD and DVD together with Fazl Say, Genco Erkal and Zuhal Olcay with Bilkent Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ibrahim Yazici.
His co-project with Sertab Erener "Turco-Latino Connection" concerts were put over and still continues to be staged.
