..Eddie holds a degree in Music from Berklee College of Music. He first started his music business in Boston, while pursuing his music studies in Berklee. His love for music has brought him to his dream school and has since worked with many well-established musicians from all over the world before even obtaining his degree. After graduating, he returned to Malaysia to serve as a Music Director in Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church full-time. At the same time, having been engaged as a composer with Easternworld Publishing, a company operating in Singapore. After his stint in KLBC, Eddie moved his music interests to Singapore where he worked in a multimedia company providing technological based music education to schools in Singapore.
Eventually, he moved back to KL and started EastWest Productions
in 2000 to continue his music works and even formed a band 'Opera' with 3 other established musicians to compete in a band competition 'Band Alert' held in 2000, jointly organized by Mcities and Yamaha Music Foundation. 'Opera' won the championship for the semi-finals out of 76 bands, and took the title of 1st Runner Up and Best Performer for the finals. All this while, he has continued to engage himself in church ministry by providing Praise & Worship workshops in churches.Eddie taught at International College of Music and LimKokWing University as well as other music schools to ensure that the knowledge he has acquired in Berklee was put to good use. This was when he discovered his love and satisfaction gained in teaching music. Soon, a steady flow of private students enrolled in EastWest as Eddie made a name for himself as a music educator cum musician.The birth of Opus Music Acdemy Pte.Ltd is part of the expansion plans of EastWest Productions where he is determined to introduce fun and stress-free music education to anyone interested. Together with the incorporation of multimedia and MIDI technology, music education is never the same.Year 2008 - Eddie took the role of Chief Mixer of the promotional theme song
