Interests... anything that interests me? As to what some of those items are... (only in the spirit of making you think I am genuinely interesting) travel, adventure, hiking, the outdoors, reading/writing, photography... ______ (add anything else you find intriguing) I am interested by, and willing to try almost anything. I wish I could do more, but who has the time? I sample many pursuits, and therefore never have to time to become proficient in most. I play tennis, golf, I ski, I have swam, played soccer, played basketball, and played volleyball. I enjoy cycling in races, and occassionally get off my ass to do triathlons. So I'm lyke, so totally fit and hawt and stuff.
I desperately want to know how David Bowie rolls the glass balls in Labrynth, so him. Meg Ryan.. goes without saying. Tom Robbins, judging from his books, he must be one of the craziest mother fuckers to ever walk the planet. An ancient egyptian, a mayan, someone from africa, Dr. Livingstone, Ghandi, Buddah, Lance, someone who is truely happy, and a genuinely intriguing person.
cool kids comment other cool kids!
Ive got pretty broad tastes when it comes to music. pretty much hate star 104 except a few decent songs they play once a week. other than that though its pretty wide open. its hard to describe a genre or anything but its mostly acoustic guitar stuff.. who knows. some bands i like are Dispatch, Ben Folds, john mayer, O.A.R, jack johnson, dave matthews band, bob marley... uhh green day, steven covell, modest mouse, sublime, wyclef jean, Queen, g. love and the special sauce, augustana, the shins, snow patrol, JET, the postal service is pretty good, and all these other sweet bands I could name drop so you think I'm cool. but then again im a big fan of like billy joel, bruce springsteen, steve miller band, led zeppelin, the rollin stones, tom petty, van morrison, the eagles, journey elton john, etc. all the good stuff. 70's music is good, but you gotta love the 60's protest stuff. dylan, greatful dead, crosby stills nash and young, neil young, the who, guess who.. all of those guys.. music is god
i love movies. love goin to the movies, love watching old ones on tv. big fan of the classic comedies, billy madison and happy gilmore, caddyshack, xmas vacation during the holidays, night at the roxburry, groundhog day (along with anything with bill murray in it) dumb and dumber, napolean.. then you gotta love the war movies like behind enemy lines, black hawk down, saving private ryan.. the sports movies like hoosiers, remember the titans, miracle.. labrynth is a continuing inspiration. fight club is amazing. boondock saints, resevoir dogs.. garden state. high fidelity is a favorite. and ill watch a chick flick once in awhile but keep it on the dl. im a sucker for meg ryan. When Harry Met Sally is one of my all time favorite movies. French Kiss is amazing too. THe classic movies are good with like audrey hephburn and carey grant. charade and to catch a theif. I could name a couple hundred more. I basically spend a majority of my freetime watching movies.
greys anatomy, LOST, and my weekly indulgence in teenage angst and drama, the OC. IFC, HBO, and starz movies also rock my television viewing pleaures
I prefer to go 'against the mold' so to speak when it comes to books. the majority of teenage boys detest any form of it.. I, however, no matter what the social reprecussions take much delight in a good book. To name a few of my favorites.. I'd read ANYTHING by theodore giesel.. hes a big inspiration. Still Life with Woodpecker- Tom Robbins rocked my world and changed my views on love. Siddartha, The Alchemist, Life of Pi, the COMPLETE Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Obviously the entire LOTR series.. mulitple times.. As well as the seemingly endless pages of the Harry Potter series.. The Golden Compass and its followers.. although it gets a bit confusing for my taste after Subtle Knife. As for the classics.. love Catcher in the Rye, farenheight 451, count of monte cristo, shakespeare once you get past the language factor, Anthem, tale of two cities etc. etc. others... um Shadow of the Wind was excellent, as was Kite Runner. I enjoyed da Vinci code along with Browns other writings. Grisham and Clive Cussler make for excellent easy reads and I've read them all. Curious George, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and Falling Up are continuing inspirations. I've read many more and shall read many more in the future. I'm open to any suggestions, please make them
