"Slowpoke" (Live 10/11/08)
Facing Winter performs "Slowpoke" (from the new album Seas Drain Into Space) live in front of a bonfire at Doyle's Moonjump Celebration Extravaganza on Oct. 11, 2008. Recorded in West Chicago, IL. This is the first time Facing Winter has released a live performance of this song. You can hear the original version of "Slowpoke" in FW's MySpace music player. You can also download the album version for 89 cents through the SNOCAP player on this page, or at facingwinter.com/merch.html .
"For Real" (Live 9/20/08)
With much enthusiastic support from the happy crowd, Facing Winter's Justin Birchard performs a solo version of "For Real" during a 28-song set at Seven Sided Studio on Sept. 20, 2008. Fans had been requesting this song for more than a year before Justin finally dug it up from the Facing Winter archive and busted it back out. This song was originally released in 2004 on Facing Winter's first release with their current lineup, EP '04. You can download it in the SNOCAP player on this page.

Justin recorded this one D.I.Y. style when he was bored at work. This song is the fourth track on Seas Drain Into Space, the forthcoming debut, full-length album from Facing Winter.
