I am here for Friends

About Me

First of all, my name is KC. You can call me Kevin...you can, but it's really not preferred and if you're wondering what the C stands for, it's Christian. Kevin Christian. Like it? I do too, my parents did a good job. *Smile* Oh, but what's in a name?

I come from a family of six...two parents, four boys. I'm the third of four brothers, and ironically the smallest...the runt. But don't sell me short! (Oh, a pun...how quaint...I can tell you're going to be really amused by my profile.) I grew up in a small town (very small) and moved to the O.C. for college...in which I'm still attending. One day I'll graduate. *Sigh*

I like to think of myself as a good person. I'm empathetic, forgiving to a fault and extremely open-minded. Some may call it naive, but I like to think the best of people. Because of this, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and am hurt easily. I don't really think I'm an emotional mess but you know, sometimes it can be hard, you know. Don't judge me too harshly, okay?

Anything else you'll want to know about me? You'll just have to ask.

My Interests

For fun, I like to pass time in a relaxing fashion: hanging out at home playing video games or watching movies. I love to go shopping, especially when I have the extra money to spend. I love to sing and dance, often at the same time too, which also means I love theatre, particularly musical theatre. And I love to love...I know that sounds terribly corny but I do. I love to love and be loved in return. It's such a great feeling when you're in love and know it, and when you can feel the love reflected back on you. It's such a strong bond, especially when you click with that special person in that special way that's just...magical.

I'd like to meet:

Well, to put it simply...I like boys. Not that the dazzling pink profile gave that away...but that by no means I don't want to meet girls. Girls make great friends...just not girlfriends (for me, anyway). I'm very friendly though, so go ahead and contact me if you just want to chat or anything. My AIM screen name is DiznypKC.

Music:

If you haven't heard Sara Barreilles, you need to. Check her out on MySpace music, just look her up. Or her new CD, Litte Voice, can be found on iTunes. She's brilliant, I swear. That's the kind of music I like.

Movies:

Romantic comedies are my favorite, but I also enjoy straight up comedies. A good epic-action movie like Spiderman or Lord of the Rings also strikes my fancy. I like deep, involved plot lines with believable characters and situations. I hate scary movies and excess gore and killing. I refuse to watch any movies with those in it.

Television:

I don't watch too much TV to be honest, but Desperate Housewives is one of my favorites. Some others are: Animaniacs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Captain N (remember that?) and Angel. I like a lot of old cartoons, if you couldn't tell, like Gargoyles. Such a great series. I've also grown to love Kathy Griffith: My Life on the D-List.

Books:

Harry Potter, but also other fantasy novels. I'm really into creative worlds, three dimensional characters and good story lines. It takes unyielding creativity to keep me interested.

Heroes:

My parents, for raising four boys. But also anyone out there following their dreams and doing what they love; their passion. Walt Disney...for example.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a prince there to save you in life?  Or a rather large, fluffy feather mattress below you everytime you fell?  Or perhaps reciprocated emotions everytime you...
