Biography

.... Established in mid 2006, ‘Life with Max’ are a south coast based original female fronted Alternative Hard Rock Band, recently commented as sounding like ‘Kate Bush in a Metal Band’.
Their influences range from Machine Head, System of a Down, Blink 182, Green Day and Sum 41 to No Doubt, Pink and Gwen Stefani.
For most of 2007/2008 ‘Life with Max’ gained as much live experience as possible, gigging regularly at venues including; The Wedgewood Rooms, The Joiners, Drift Bar, Talking Heads, The Cellars and Havana Bar and gaining a reputation for energetic live performances and unpredictable changes from one song to the next.
However, for 2009 ‘Life with Max’ are back in the rehearsal room refining their sound by writing new material and improving the old and hoping to record along the way.
A recent track ‘No Compromise’ (recorded at Blacksmiths Studios, Portsmouth) is available on this site, so take it how you like and go easy on the salt (ouch!), cause Life with Max are ready to force feed you with their own brand of Guitar driven Alternative 'metal/punk corrupted’ Rock!
