I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Greetings! My name is Joao and I'm a Violin teacher & musical director of our baroque orchestra at school. Music has been in my life since I can remember: the grandma's piano, the cousin's guitar, and the list kept growing when I started adding my own instruments. Then came the pop-rock bands in the 80's and a CD with our band in 1991. (big sigh!) Eventually I started driffting towards the classical and the violin but thankfully rock is there always... don't really have a problem with mixing The Doors or Nina Hagen with Bach and Handel on the same sentence :) Alaska and the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race , Classic Aviation , Flight Simulation and Formula 1 , Cinema and Tai Chi - are dear to me and fill much of my free time (if there's sucha thing!). Painting.... guess I should be doing that. That's the one skill I didn't have to sweat to get, but alas it has been dorment for long. Enough bragging ... trust me: I'm a really easy going and down to earth guy - as long as there's not too much silly talk involved ;) If there's one thing that's never too much is friendship and that's what made me land here at my space. I sure hope you and I can become friends!
