Back in 2001 I had lost my way. Literally, I was wandering around Seward Park, homeless hungry and without a friend in the world. I truly knew I hit rock bottom when I was captured and incarcerated by the law. Thankfully after only several days in the slammer, serendipity stepped in and brought me a mother. Beth, was looking for love in all the wrong places: specifically the cat section of the Ballard Animal Shelter, in the paws of a cat named Shakespeare (who had a wandering fang, an audible respiratory ailment and poo hanging from his bung hole but that's another story). My charm and natural good looks won over Shakespeare's questionable hygiene and Beth brought me home to the Beach House. There, I lived amongst rockers, tweakers and people who worship the likes of Amy Sedaris. It was at the Beach House that I first felt my budding connection to Vincent. Long walks in the park, a gentle voice and timely meals are only a few things I love about Vincent. When my beloved Beth had to go away to work he eased my pain and took it upon himself to show me the wonders of the world: mountains, oceans and rock and roll. I'm so happy to be able to capture, thanks to Sue Corcoran and the creative minds at Von Piglet Productions, some of the love and affection that Vince and I share. Hell, I even put a poodle skirt on for that son of gun. Watch the video, people. Listen to the song. Feel the love. Perhaps shell out a few kibbles and buy the MP3 on iTunes. Yours, Girlfriend
