"KURE KURE TAKORA" first appeared on the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation's JOCX-TV on October 1st, 1973. It was a new type of program for children. TAKORA, a central character coveted for everything saying "KURE! (I want it)" all the time. Every episode was absurd, strange, surrealistic and indescribable.
