The Wardrobe has received continuous critical acclaim since the turn of the millennium for its comprehensive menu of food and drink. Fine wines and satisfying main courses complement exquisite cocktails and luscious desserts, while live music creates a peaceful ambience on a weeknight and adds an electric atmosphere to the weekend.
THE BASEMENT CLUB
With a painstakingly engineered, custom-built sound-system and a forty foot cocktail bar, the Wardrobe's nightclub space has stood in the vanguard of the Leeds live music scene for over a decade. Occupying the entire basement of the former warehouse, the thoughtfully-lit interior echoes fifties New York industrialism and offers relaxation and entertainment to some 450 revellers. This space is also available for private hire.

The Wardrobe's stages have been weathered by some of the most influential and withstanding acts on the international music scene. These have included Amy Winehouse, Marlena Shaw, Corinne Bailey Rae, Beverly Knight, Julian Marley, Acoustic Ladyland, Robert Glasper, Soweto Kinch, Jazzanova, The New JB’s (fronted by Fred Wesley), Linton Kwesi Johnson, Terri Callier, Arrested Development, Alice Russel, Roy Ayers, Jerry Bergonzi, Gwen McCrae, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Spearhead, Brian Auger, Bernard Purdy, Breakestra, Fertile Ground, Sly and Robbie, Carleen Anderson, Dwele, Turin Breaks, Kate Rusby, The Herbaliser, Youngblood Brass Band and the Quantic Soul Orchestra, to name just a few.
The Wardrobe's dancefloors have also surrendered to a plethora of DJ's and MC's who include Norman Jay, Lyrics Born, Roots Manova, Jungle Brothers, RJD2, DJ Format, People Under The Stairs, Killa Kela, Aspects, Questlove, DJ Nu-Mark, DJ Spinna, Madlib and Q-Bert.
