About Me

About Us About Miwsig and Contribution GuidelinesAbout MiwsigMiwsig is a new, Wales-based arts venture that aims to put writing and discovery at the forefront. The art is always there in its myriad forms, and we need our contributors to get amongst it with passion, vision and imagination.Writers: What We're Looking ForWhat would be good is to provide a running commentary on the teeming underbelly of contemporary culture, and to represent all the great underground bands and artists that get buried under the pile of formulaic careerists that perpetually dominate the mainstream press. If this interests you then contact us.The formatting of Miwsig is looser than most mainstream outlets, taking a step out of industry regulation and pointing towards a more aesthetic, freestyle future! We’re currently looking for a small nucleus of bright, informative and passionate writers to contribute general articles on as wide a range of subjects as [email protected] [email protected]

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People on the cutting edge of music and the arts - dark, light, humorous, political....in whatever guise it appears in!At the moment we are looking for an artist to produce regular sketches for the online journal - in the style of Ralph Steadman (he of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas fame!). They don't even need to be as detailed as these. Primarily the artist should be imaginative and humorous. Commenting on the articles or reviews as you see fit, and other preoccupations such as the latest news and/ or music releases, you will enrich the journal with your contributions. If interested please contact [email protected]
