Electro rockers from south of the border, AUDIONAUTAS' music reflect their broad tastes and that comes across in the sounds and styles they mix, they like a bit of everything. Mario-C. and crew have been working together on material since 2007, they are busy working on new tracks and they finally have completed their line up.
Never say purists, they all have a hard rock background but as their musical knowledge evolved they began to appreciate other styles and began to incorporate them into their sound... expanding pop and electronic sounds with that rock energy.
Even without an official release (which it's on its way) they scored an endorsement deal with Lee jeans co. the guys at Lee wanted to get involved with Audionautas and support them the minute they heard their music.
Aesthetics and detail play a big part in their sound, no other Mexican band sounds like AUDIONAUTAS.
About MARIO-C. (guitars, synth programming)
Guitar player / producer / arranger / remixer / programmer/ whiz kid / audionaut ! based in Mexico City.
He started out as a guitar player with small local bands but he quickly built a decent reputation thanks to friends and musicians who noticed his unique talent and kept recommending him for gigs, that word of mouth led him to land a gig as a sideman guitar player with various major local pop stars (most notably with multi platinum artist Cristian Castro among many others) and embarked into a voragine of endless touring, from the USA to the bottom of Argentina ... He then moved on to recording with as many people as he could doing sessions with many local producers, most notably with his friends at Pianica, Nacho Rettally at Equis Cosa and numerous sessions with producer Jack Amkie at Lomas Post, arguably the top jingle studios in Mexico City, now He produces music in his studio where he has done lots of arranging for different people, lots of jingles and even some film scoring (short films campaigns against corruption that were screened at all major movie theaters and had an audience of over 20 million ... and the movie "Avisos de Ocasión" his first full length movie available for rent at Blockbuster, he also produced 3 songs for the movie's soundtrack) ...

Waldorf synths ! µq and µwave Xt's (2x) access virus c, korg Z1, clavia nord modular, lots of Yamaha gear : A5000 & A4000 samplers, Yamaha FS1R super formant FM synth, Yamaha EX5R, yammy AN1X, roland JV1080 and MC-505 ...
guitars by parker (fly deluxe) ibanez (mainly S models) some yamahas too, (pacificas, the latest RGX and APX acoustics) fx by lexicon MPX-G2 (2x) + MPX-1, tc electronic g-force and some boss gear, the usual midi pedalboards, Marshall and fender amps, they record their unique blend of aural alchemy using motu (HD 192's and DP 5) gear.

about GEORGE C. (bass)
Experienced bass player with literally thousands of gigs under his belt joined AUDIONAUTAS on bass on early 2007, George has played with many influential underground and not so underground rock bands, he also worked as a bass player for many local Mexican pop stars and has toured all over Mexico and South America, with his former band he has toured distant countries like japan where he landed several endorsement deals
about OMAR V. (drums)
Rock drummer with tons of experience forms the foundation of AUDIONAUTAS music, a drummer for over 15 years he brings his solid groove to a new sound.
