NO BLEST
Extreme brutality with no concessions! That is the proposal presented by the Brazilian Brutal Death Metal “Power Trio†NO BLEST composed by Marcos (Bass/Vocals), Carlos (Guitar/Vocals) and Elton (Drums).
Born in late 1998, and being influenced by acts like Death, Nile, Suffocation, Brutality, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Malevolent Creation, Deeds of Flesh, among others, NO BLEST’s music reflects the most Brutal and Extreme side of Death Metal.
Alternating between the vocals of Marcos (Bass) and Carlos (Guitar), and presenting music and lyrics that represent chaos and insanity, the band makes use of fast and gut-ripping riffs and Elton’s (Drums) massive and reckless drumpounding style, without abdicating the technique and weight that are characteristics of the style.
During the bands existence, NO BLEST suffered various changes in its line up until they estabilished the current one and marked its return to the scene in 2004, sharing the stage with the Almighty Krisiun!
Also, NO BLEST released the demo-rehersal tape entitled Agonize in Terror (1999), the demo-tape Images Between Reality and Illusion (2000), participated in the compilation Rock Soldiers Vol. 5 (2000 - UGK Records) and the compilation Brazilian Mayhemic Legions Vol. 1 (2001 - Mutilation Records – with bands like Krisiun, Mental Horror e Head Hunter DC among others). The band also released a Promo CD (2006) that was recorded as a test.
Beyond participating in various gigs and festivals, NO BLEST released in november 15th, 2007 a Split Record with Bosnian Technical Death Metal band "After Oblivion" and supported by "Hidden Throne Zine and Promotions" entitled AGE OF CATASTROPHE. This same Split was released independently in Brazil (2008), with new cover art and 2 bonus tracks.They are now composing new songs and improving their techniques to guarantee yet more brutality in its performances to honor the name of the True and Brutal Death Metal!
