Lleva hip hop, dancehall, rocksteady y demás ritmos jamaicanos al compás de Jerez , creando un sonido unico y bombástico inna Raggaflamenco style, colaborando con la cantaora Marisa Herrera (LA FLACA DE JEREZ), el mc y músico jamaicano, KOOL DEROY, y 3 veces ganador de DMC DJMEK en su próximo LP.///////////////////////INSURGENTE are a Cadiz/ Dublin based latin rocksteady ragga band with a hard hip hop edge. Born as a recording project from the Rebel Lion Sound System, they are currently producing their debut album featuring flamenco and reggae artists along with some of Irelands top session musicians.Irish producer Alan Madigan and rapper/songstress Comandante Mercy form the nucleus of this dynamic new act taking their cues from all the best ragga and dance music of the last 40 years adding latin and flamenkillo spice into the mix. Collaborators on their soon to be released debut album include dj Mek, flamenco singer La Flaca de Jerez and Jamaican MC Kool Deroy.
