Some people have goals that involve houses or retirement plans but my goals are to have adventures and help people. I find activities that fall into one or both of these categories are the experiences that lead me to personal growth; and that is something that I, for one, need more of.
I recently moved to Napa, California to teach high school math. I'm a first year teacher. I'm putting in over 60 hours a week, am exhausted most of the time, and have no life, but I'm loving the experience. Some may call me crazy, and they are probably right; but I also know that I was meant to be a teacher, and it feels great to have found a calling, even if it took me 27 years.
